Station Overview: WGRA Radio went on the air in 1949 as the

only radio station in Cairo). Although the format and programming has
changed over the years, WGRA’s connection to our local community has
remained steadfast. We are the only station in a 50 mile radius that
programs a News/Talk format 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including such
nationally syndicated personalities as Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura
Schlessinger, Neil Boortz, Laura Ingraham and Jerry Doyle. In
addition to national talk programming, WGRA airs (15) locally produced
newscasts per day, over (20) local weather reports, daily agriculture
news, community announcements and the complete schedule of the Cairo
High School Syrupmaker
Football, Basketball and Baseball seasons.
If you are trying
